Hi,

I see an old post about problems with downloading:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVFbA1AbEUw

I can't download it with youtube-dl. Is this an on-going "bug" or issue that has not so far been resolved or can it be downloaded and I'm just doing something wrong?

I have path set for C:\rtmpdump, it has all the files that were in rtmpdump-2.4-git-010913-windows.zip extracted to it. I also when it wouldn't work, tried copying all those files into my youtube-dl folder to make sure they would be "seen" by youtube-dl.exe.

Is there more to it then lust having the RTMP files in a "friendly" path for youtube-dl to see or ...what's the procedure to add RTMP downloading?

Can this video be downloaded or has the issue not been resolved?

Thanks for your help.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVFbA1AbEUw uses an RTMPE stream, and that is not yet supported. However, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't add support for it - you are welcome to suggest code that adds RTMPE support. See #343 for more information.
