Description

Certain videos which are playable via the web (https://7plus.com.au/watch-your-back?episode-id=AETN06-032, https://7plus.com.au/story-of-a-girl?episode-id=AETN06-043, https://7plus.com.au/a-sisters-revenge?episode-id=AETN06-025) with no errors, cannot be downloaded with the error "No video formats found".

Other videos from the same website are both view-able and downloading perfectly fine (e.g. https://7plus.com.au/the-colour-of-magic?episode-id=COMG01-001, https://7plus.com.au/the-colour-of-magic?episode-id=COMG01-002, https://7plus.com.au/hogfather?episode-id=HOGF-001, https://7plus.com.au/hogfather?episode-id=HOGF-002, https://7plus.com.au/the-perfect-girlfriend?episode-id=AETN06-023)

Yes, I did search for similar issues, and the three which came closest were:

17780 is clearly the earlier one, but is referencing a video from a series, whereas 18365 adds more detail but says it "always appears to happen with single videos, series videos are fine".

I'm finding that some individual videos are fine, and the one series I downloaded worked fine, but some individual ones don't.

The issue which my one is potentially closest to is 18977, but I can confirm it is not a DRM issue (such as is the case with https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/issues/21496).

All the videos play fine on the sight if you can get past the crap ton of ads.
It seams to be just random which videos work and which fail but its always the same ones that fail and the same ones that work.. I'v been at this for almost a week now with the same results.
Now I don't know a lot of how youtube-dl works but is there a way to force web-ripp over web-dl?
I'v noticed that some other sites like sbs youtube-dl records the stream (web-ripp) but for 7plus it can just download the mp4 (web-dl). Is there a way to make it try and just web-ripp instead of trying to web-dl it? like I know that each sight probably needs special programming to web-dl or wep-ripp but it was just a thought.
