Have tried with and without a proxy.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this issue (neither from Germany nor the US - sorry, don't have any machines in Canada), and the error codes very much look like youtube had a problem. Note that 502 Bad Gateway does not refer to your proxy, but youtube's webserver which relies on youtube's backend.

If the error persists, and just affects this video, please drop me a mail or a private github message.
