I'm not exactly sure if this is a luser error on my part or not, but I am not able to download webm videos from youtube with youtube-dl. Is this a known issue?

Things don't seem to change if I tell youtube that I am willing to participate on the "HTML 5 trial", by means of a "forced" cookie with an HTTP request with a suitable header.

Is this a problem on my side, or is it reproducible?

See issue #134, it should work. Can you give a command line which fails? Also, please include the output of:

youtube-dl --version
python --version

I guess that with the recent changes in Youtube the problem fixed itself and so I am closing this bug.
