This would be a handy addition, specially considering the fact that 1080p videos need ffmpeg post-processing. Also, this seems pretty easily doable - https://github.com/rg3/youtube-dl/issues/288

#288 answer says that it would confuse some programs.
I think it would HELP many programmers
