You are using and outdated version of youtube-dl; this issue has been fixed in the current version. Type sudo youtube-dl -U to update.

Thanks for the report, your invocation exposes a bug in youtube-dl when all of these options are combined. This bug has been fixed in youtube-dl 2015.01.23.2.. Type sudo youtube-dl -U to update.
