I just tried to download this VOD http://www.twitch.tv/iamsp00n/v/3867484 and by deafult youtube-dl picked high instead of source, similiar to this issue https://github.com/rg3/youtube-dl/issues/4972

I think it's the same thing, it chooses high because the fixed bitrate for High is higher than the original source. But the original stream without beeing re-encoded would be better.
