This has been requested a few times before and it's a "wontfix". Some people prefer -t. Other people, specially from Asian countries, prefer -l, and others just prefer another output template. The current default template is a safe choice, it works on most platforms and is equally useful to everybody. Granted, it's not very useful in most cases but, that way, users are forced to make a decision and use the proper program option.

No problem. In the bitbucket.org issue tracker I had a few issues like this one and I could mark them as duplicated. In the github.com issue tracker, we'll use this one as a reference the next time the topic shows up. :)
