I use youtube-dl to auto download from the channels that I like. One exemple is here:

~/youtube-dl --download-archive history.info -f 137+bestaudio/bestvideo+bestaudio/best --playlist-end 50 --match-title (.Top.|.Highlight.|..est.of.|.Best.) --dateafter 20140428 -o '%(uploader_id)s(%(upload_date)s) - %(title)s (%(format)s).%(ext)s' https://www.youtube.com/user/NBA/videos

What I need is some option like --abort-on-error that would abort either when the selected video is already in archive or date is already not in range. I would suggest an option like --abort-on-error but for this kind of "errors". This is interesting because most of the playlist are in chronological order so if I get either of this errors it isn't worth it to look further in that channel.

Example: (in this case the processing would stop in the fifth video instead of the fifty)
